What is Counselling?..
Counselling is essentially a space that is boundaried and confidential that allows you to explore all your concerns and current/past life circumstances. This takes place in a relationship which is guided by therapeutic and theoretical approaches.
Sometime talking to a friend is complicated by them wanting to cheer you up and feel better. Talking with a counsellor offers you a unique opportunity to explore your concerns/fears/anxieties without the need to protect the other person; enabling you to fully experience your emotions and thoughts as they surface without judgement.
