My name is Catherine, I am warm, friendly and easy to talk to.
My practice is based in Ealing, West London. I work with adults, couples and young people on a one-to-one basis.
I use an 'Integrative' approach; this means using different counselling models to suit the needs of each individual client.
I see individual clients at my home, providing a safe, comfortable and confidential environment in which to build a relationship of trust and openness. This might be a short or long-term relationship, depending on individual needs.

I have attended numerous short courses and workshops
I have been practising for over 10 years, my experience includes working for various organisations as well as building my private practice. These organisations include Open Door Counselling Service, who take GP and self-referred clients. Tasha Foundation who take GP referred clients and the Place2be who place counsellors in schools. I have also worked as a telephone counsellor/case manager for Work Place Options. I have experience of working with clients of differing ages, genders, cultures, religion and sexuality.
My practice is confidential and non-judgemental regardless of gender, sexual orientation, nationality, race or religion. I will listen and offer you a warm, caring, space to talk about and explore whatever is causing you unhappiness. Stress, depression, low self-esteem, fear, abuse, anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement are just a few of the issues that may be making your life difficult.
During counselling I will work with you to explore your issues, we will look at the situation you are currently facing, establish how you would prefer the situation to be and work together to find a way to reach this goal. I can help you gain a deeper understanding about yourself and your life, to feel less overwhelmed by problems, and become empowered to make changes.
